My little one has been begging me to make matching skirts for her and her cousin. One's favorite color is yellow and the other one's is purple. I found this super-sweet fairy fabric (in both colors!!) at my local quilt shop, added some ribbon that I bought months ago because it was "so cute," made some puffy flower pins and done!

It took forever to come up with a design idea for the top that wouldn't compete with the ribbon trim - I think the flowers are just right and I love that they can be moved around!

Cute! You should make some big girl versions of these.
Very cute! Love the pins and the adorable skirts!!!
I love the puffy flower pins! How did you make them?
Thanks everyone! I made "yo-yo's" and stuffed them instead of leaving them flat. I flipped them over and sewed them very tightly together. Sewed a felt circle on the back to cover everthing and added a pin-back. Hope that makes sense! :)
How adorable! You are quite the seamstress!!
Very Cute!! Phoebe will definately want to make one!
Sooo cute!! I love that you made them matching--but still accenting each one's fav color. Very nice work (and the pins ARE the perfect touch, so sweet!)
Smiles, Karen
